Rockets will have the best record in the league this year and will take the suns place as the poster team of the league this season.. only to lose in the WCF to the Spurs. BOOK IT!
I don't expect Scola to be ROY, just because there is too much hype around Kevin Durant. But Scola will be a solid starter for the Rockets (~12 ppg, 6 rpg). And we will pay the price of having to face the much imore mproved Rockets.
i think scola will break a leg 2 wks into the season and sit for the rest. book it. hahaha.

That's what I've thought, even before Oden got injured. I've seen all his games while at UT and he is simply incredible. He does something and all you can do is shake your head and go WOW! The guy will "rain" so many threes that they'll have to play in the shade. (little play on 300)
my vote is for durant too... i like his style.

yet another scola thread....and here I go adding to the fire. Well, lessee...even though he plays a different position AND came off the bench, the greatest Argentinian player to ever lace em up in the NBA averaged 7.6 and 2 rb per game in his rookie season.
As for Scola...the man-love for that goofy looking dude is unreal. Honestly, its a joke. he will have a few big games but mostly 6 to 8 pts and 6 rebounds a game. And that's not bad for a rookie. I don't care how much Euro experience he has.
He still has a new system to learn and a new speed to play at, a grueling, ton of games to play through and bigger, taller bodies to play against. Why can't people see that ? In fact, people should start defending this guys value now. Start preaching how it will take him some time to adjust and learn.
My guess is that the same people saying he is so great now will be defending him not being a bust.
Don't forget that he will bring Peace to the Middle East and reconciliation between the Sunni's and Shiites in Iraq's insuregency. He will track down Osama Bin Laden, get him to surrender AND denounce terrorism. The next day...
