That makes sense. I'm not a runner, but I wear the Asics running shoes for my PF. I'm still going to bust the balls of the guys who buy multiple pairs of $100+ basketball shoes and can't make a layup.![]()
TMac 5s but I think the best bball shoe I've ever owned were my Tmac 2s. great ankle support.
shame I don't play anymore![]()

Zoom Lebron IV, most comfortable shoe I own, and for those who know, I got a lot of shoes.
The Jordan XX1 is pretty good too, the XX2, not so much. Hopefully the XX3 is everything that Jordan Brand says it is and then some.
I wear the new Duncan's and I have to say that I've never played in better basketball shoes. You're low to the ground, great comfort and great ankle support. I really recomment them.
I recently wore out the velcro straps and soles on my all-black lebron 20.5.5's and now I rotate between:
Nike Air Uptempo Pro--which I got after seeing them on the feet of Manu and TP (but mostly cuz of Manu) and now I only see them on Fabricio Oh-Boy-Oberto. Use them both indoor and outdoor but more for indoor play:

All-Black (even the nike swoosh) Nike Air Zoom Huarache 2k5, mainly for outdoors:
This is one of the 2k5's that are most closely made for kobe. It has kobe's logo on the back along with "kobe" written on the top of the tongue, which I white out regularly...=)
Awesome grey/white Nike Air Zoom Huarache 2k4--my most favorite shoe ever. Used almost primarily for indoors. Mine look like it is a much lighter gray than the one pictured:

But I firmly believe that there is no need to ever spend more than 75 bucks on a good, quality pair of b-ball shoes. I bought all three of the above marked down for no more than $70 bucks for each of them. And I think the huarache's especially are still the best shoes in recent memory...and for the price I got them at, probably the best bang for buck ever. The Lebron line is pretty good but a bit on the heavy side and on the expensive side.
I have sort of shied away from Adidas ever since the T-Mac (4?) disaster (the one with no laces and that "lock-in" lever crap. I used to be all adidas but I've faced the fact that Nike is better at balling shoes at least...
One of my favorite shoes from the past were these Fila Grant Hill's (sorry, couldn't find a bigger pic):

These are my basketball spectating shoes:

2nd your vote for these.... simply the best shoes for comfort, feel and response....bought two pairs of the same shoe i liked them so much. Dont get knockoffs as the quality is half that of the authentic J's.
i got 2 pairs of vince carter 5s, one in white and black and the other is red and black i wear em for home and away at school lol
i was wearing my lebron 2s but i let a friend borrow them and havent seen them since might break oput the kobe 2s or so old school air vandals
my first bball shoes were
ewing
barkleys air max
webbers air max
havnt bought a sports shoe since yr2000..only wear cheap $20 casual shoes these days
Guess that means you'll be getting the Marburys then....
you mean a piece of rubber and a shoe lace? who the would spend what is it $14 on a pair of bball shoes?
Those are awesome! How much?

^ That's what the hyphy movement does to America's youth. It makes them go out and buy some fugazees
