With very few exceptions, I think rap music is garbage. Some performers like NWA, Public Enemy, Tupac, Jay-Z, Eminem are or were good...but the rest of what's out there is a bunch of amateurs blurting out nonsense. Free-style rapping by wannabees is horrific. The best rappers have something genuine to say or at the very least are fantastic wordsmiths. Rant over.
