Tiago block!!!
End of 1st
Brazil up 23-16
Tiago plays a solid defense but he has a lot to learn with TD on offense
He just needs to learn to stay out of the way and rebound missed shots. Sounds difficult enough
Well, he'll learn, won't he?
I know this is a rivalry and all...but I don't know why we are playing our starters so much when we already have the 2nd or 3rd place locked.
If Scola, Delfino or Prigioni get injured or tired tonight and miss the semifinals it would be stupid.
Argentina plays USA tommorow, I wonder if Argentina will play hard/try.
Has anybody here played with the FIBA ball? It looks like it bounces like a beachball.
Splitter jump hook is Rasho-esque ... with less touch. It's horrible. He needs to take it out of his game completely. His D is pretty good but he isn't impressing me this game rebounding wise. He's watching the ball instead of going after it.
Scola -- other than that dunk -- hasn't looked too impressive. Splitter obviously knows how to guard him.
Splitter looks tired compared to the US game. Not running as hard and not fighting for rebounds.
Argentina is looking sloppy as
It's practically the same than the NBA ball, you can't almost feel the difference.
Maybe you get that feeling because the players bounce the ball more? I mean with the referees calling travelling more often.
They don't all goal tend in FIBA? LMAO @ Splitter.
Splitter is PWNING Scola.
True, but I hope he can learn some tricks with TDSplitter jump hook is Rasho-esque ... with less touch. It's horrible.
Tiago's D'ing up Scola pretty damn good.
Niiice defense by Splitter. He plays defense kinda like Duncan in that he doesn't go for fakes. The only downside to that is it means he won't be much of a shotblocker.
Good D by Splitter on Scola
Maybe, but it also looks bouncier off the rim as well. Maybe it's just seeing thr rotation in a different way because of the colors.
ing finally.
Someone scores.
what channel is this on?
That Brazil coach is pretty whiney, LMAO. It was clearly a shot clock violation.
Valtinho is a big friend of GrandeDavid
