I know the Pei Wei restaurants here aren't like that at all, but then the HQ is here, and so is everyone's bosses, so they might be more on their toes.
Chicken Pad Thai from Pei Wei is my crack!![]()
That's correct.![]()

I went to Taipei a few times when I lived down there...good stuff.
Which Flemings were you at? Scottsdale?
True, the "PF" in PF Chang's is Paul Fleming, the owner.
I lost my 99 Championship hat there, never been back since
yeah, DC Ranch.
do they have those awesome lettuce wrap thingies that they have at pf changs?
lol...yeah it would....281 and brook hollow? i dunno...it's in the same area as the taco cabana.
yeah!!
That's more vietnamese though.
I like to order the lemongrass chicken with the peanuts on top with hoisin.
actually for all you atx are people, China Wall in the hastings plaza on Ih 35 in N austin is the best!!!
I am the only person on earth who likes that Pei Wei has carrots and snow peas in their dishes, and not just the straight meat, but it is obviously not the same quality as PF Changs. The PF Changs at the Quarry is alot better than the one at La Cantera. I like PFC as much for the atmosphere and the service, as for the food, and the one at La Cantera just doesn't have the same feel or quality of employees as the one at the Quarry.
For Chinese, I also like Beijing on NW Military a lot.
In Austin there used to be this great little Vietnamese place off 183 called Sunflower, that place had the best "shaken" beef and vietnamese style chicken salad. Haven't been in years though.
Pei Wei never fails to give me a bad case of the s. I finally stopped eating there.
I think they put a gallon of oil in every dish. If you wan't to get freaked out, check the calorie count in pretty much any dish.
I like Pei Wei... Though, my wife hates chinese food...
I was there last night. I like it a lot. Their Asian chopped chicken salad is very good.
Speaking of Chinese food, there's this place about a mile from me called Green Garden. Nothing too fancy, it's pretty much a local joint, but I like it. The staff there always ask me how my family's doing when I go in and they have a damn good lunch buffet.
I haven't been in years, but Hung Fung on Broadway used to have the best chinese in SA.
