That's probably what his "Boston Native Friend" said. I wouldn't take Dirk Nowitzki's predictions too seriously either

meh...it's only a matter of time until we see this from him....

    PATRIOTS SUCK!

...or is this pleasure reserved only for Spurs wins??

Just got back from ACL....didn't bother watching, listening to, or even checking the score of the game. I knew exactly what the outcome would be, and it happened almost exactly as I predicted.

No point in talking any .....this is the equivalent of the Patriots beating Houston or Oakland's brains in, they're just taking care of business against a team that ISN'T ANYWHERE NEAR THEIR LEVEL. ONE TEAM is on the Patriots level.....or, since they are the defending champs and all, I'll say that ONE TEAM is on the Colts level, and that's New England. I don't wanna hear else about Baltimore or San Diego or Pittsburgh, there are TWO teams on the top tier of the NFL and nobody ing else. End of ing story.

Careful, this is perilously close to "They're just beating a team they're supposed to beat. No surprises there."

The definitely looked very good, but it's too early to tell if the only two teams that will contend are NE and Indy. We'll see where things are at come week 17. A Brady broken leg here or a Manning severed head there and everything is different. Even without injuries you never now how good a team will perform in the one and done playoffs.

"beating a team they're supposed to beat. No surprises" isn't a stupid statement until SpursDynasty puts it in the context of an 8 seed beating a 1 seed.

if the Spurs beat the Hornets, they ARE beating a team they're supposed to beat. And the Patriots beating the out of the Chargers is the football equivalent of the Spurs beating the Hornets.

I still fail to see how this 2007 Patriots team going out and beating the out of a very good Chargers team somehow redeems the Patriots for the possible winning through cheating that occurred prior to 2007. This isn't the same team that possibly cheated to win 3 les, how does this team winning this game have anything to do with that? I ask because I've actually heard some radio and tv sports people suggest as much.

Give San Diego more credit than that. It's the equivalent of the Spurs beating the Suns.

I think the Chargers are extremely overrated and they're gonna float around .500 this year, which is why they're the Hornets IMO.

The way the Chargers cry about everything does remind me of the Suns though.

i realize he's going to cool down eventually, but I enjoyed seeing that Randy Moss is on pace for 136 receptions, 2304 yards, and 24 TD's.

If they do, blame it on Norv. They went 14-2 last year and brought back mostly everybody, I can't see them slipping past 10-6.
