You guys had a fantastic shot at beating the Spurs, if you had signed Hill and KEPT Thomas.
If you guys had kept Kurt Thomas, I would've picked the Suns to go to the Finals and win it all.

I think alot of Spur fans completely over rate K Thomas.
Well, he didn't stop Timmy. He allowed for single coverage on Timmy so that his average could go down from 30 ppg to 20 ppg when they were matched against each other.
it's just that his presence is felt more against the spurs than against most teams in the league. it's almost like he was there just for the sole purpose of playing against us.

Grant Hill is going to throw his arm out of the socket if he takes many more bad threes (1-6). Maybe that's why he just missed both FTs.
I think the Amare's suspension built up Thomas's contribution. If not for that, K Thomas would not mean much in the minds of most Spur fans.
In a typical game, where Amare isn't in foul trouble, he's going to play 35 - 40 minutes. Thomas wouldn't be much of a factor.

But it's the first ing half of the first ing game of the season. Anyone who makes a judgment based off of these first 24 minutes is ejaculating prematurely. The Suns started off 1-5 last season with nearly the same squad.

Good to see PJ's got his team playin well... Durant is playing better than the 1st game, maybe the Suns lack of D, maybe he's just already getting adjusted to the speed of the NBA. He's gonna score 25-30 a game this year easily tho. Jeff Green's a player. And Wilcox is a beast! I've been saying he was a 20-10 waiting to happen since his early days in LA. Petro looks good for them too, looks like he's bulked up quite a bit
and yea, I know everybody plays good against Phoenix's bigs (see Nazr and Elson's career games).... but he looked good against Denver too... and last year... and in LA, they just didn't let him play enough.
Suns' defense has tightened in the 4th quarter--Sonics have 6 points in the first 7 minutes of the 4th quarter.
