(Nerd warning) The thing is, old diabetics, they usually can't see the bottom of their feet and they've lost most of the feeling... they have a lot of problems with it. I was a home health aide for a while and did a lot of foot care. With the poor circulation, a little knick can turn into a wound that won't heal. Sad, really.

Like yesterday, he told his patient that he needed to admit her to the hospital. She told him that she needed to pray about it. I guess God told her to get her ass to the hospital as she's having surgery tomorrow.![]()
