When you work a lot (teachers work 10 hour days) you tend to bang the people around you - most teachers are female, lonely females....

Where were all of the horny teachers in highschool? Well since I went to an all male highschool school may have something to do with it.. On second thought maybe it was a good thing I didn't know any horny teachers..

I totally agree. But the sad part is, this won't change, and a large part of the reason why is that when a man gets caught with a female student people crucify him but when a woman is doing a male student, most are like "wow, where were these teachers when I was in school" or "damn, why couldn't I have a hot teacher like that?" They think its funny, or a joke. But its not.

As long as teenage boys who have sex with their teachers are considered 'studs' or 'lucky,' none of this will change. And the sad part is that the same people who witchunt the male teachers are the same ones who think the female teachers were doing the male student a favor or something.

You are so right Mel. Every time a female teacher/male student story comes up, guys get all bothered and say stupid things like "Lucky kid". When referring to that same situation I've NEVER heard any female say anything other than "Stupid "! But as Funt clearly states the double standard is an unfortunate societal thing that is very slow to change. When I was in high school, girls attention seeking from the men teachers was not unusual at all. As long as no touching happened, male teachers pretty much could say or imply anything they wanted to the girls. And that not being bad enough, the girls got off on it. Like some kind of status symbol to be able to excite an older guy. Like we all know how difficult it is to turn on any man! At my school alone I am aware of 4 blatent cases (mine included). 2 of them ended in marriage!! No one was very bothered at all. But maybe things are changing a bit because as the guys here say, the male teachers are "crucified". And I don't see these female teacher psychos getting away with much!
