TSA is a big in homer WOWWWWW.

How can you deny such a thing? All he can say is "Unpink me Kori!" like a little . I'd rock TSA just like MJD did to that softening up pussy Merriman.

I'm assuming that you'd like Merriman to give to you up the ass. That's the only explanation for your vicious defense of him.
Where have I defended him? I specifically said I wasn't arguing his steroid use. The only thing I've done in this thread is prove that the photo was shopped.

By the way, I've played and coached more football than you'll ever know.
Then you must understand how hits work. Anyone can upend another player depending on the balance of upended player and the player's foot position. Merriman got caught in a bad position and got ed up good by a little man. He also got up instantly and continued pursuit of the play. Have you never witnessed a kicker nail someone on a kickoff return?

Face it, Merriman isn't as effective as he was last year. And, the only reason he was so effective was because he had the help of a little thing we all like to call steroids.

    That is fact.
It's ignorant comments like this that make me even wonder why I'm arguing with you. You know nothing, you are a ing idiot.

Did you happen to notice how much Merriman was used in blitzes last year? Did you happen to notice how often he's been used in coverage this year? Merriman is blitzing 50% less than he was last year. Phillips and Cottrell have very different ideas on how to use Merriman and his production shows. A person who claims to know as much about football as you claim shouldn't have to have such obvious things pointed out to them. Less blitzes = Less sacks. Pretty simple equation.

What we're pointing out is that TSA is trying to bull past Merriman's steroid use.
God damn you are ing re ed.

The picture is photoshopped, as I said from the beginning. His head was put on the body of a 310 lb. lineman. Me pointing that out in no way says I am defending his steroid use.

John Smith has a good point. He's just pointing out the fact that fans will turn a blind eye on a player due to their love of team and anyone on the team. My buddy Jason loves the Cowboys and hated TO with a huge passion, before he became a poke. Loves the guy now.
i'm 100% sure you loved everyone on the broncos before they became broncos, and after they left. i'm sure you were a staunch romonowski fan when he went to the raiders, i'm sure you were wearing a ravens jersey when sharpe went there and got another ring. because you absolutely have to love a player before and after he was on your team. you could have just said, i hate the boys too so i think johnsmith is right.

MERRIMAN PHOTO WAS DOCTORED . . . BY THE CHARGERS?

We think we've finally figured out the mystery of the Merriman photo.

It was doctored. But not by us. Or by anyone looking to discredit Merriman. Instead, it was doctored by the Chargers, or by the league.

Merriman, as you might recall, stayed away from the Chargers' offseason workouts and minicamps in 2005, supposedly because he didn't like the terms of the team's injury guarantee.

But a headshot was needed, and it appears that Merriman's head and neck were grafted onto the body of the headshot generated by defensive tackle Jamal Williams.

So why was Williams wearing No. 97? Our understanding is that the team typically leaves several jerseys in the room where the pictures are taken, and that one of them in 2005 was No. 97.

None of this changes the fact that Merriman's face and neck are noticeably smaller than they were whenever the photo was taken, or that Merriman is smaller in his 2007 photo than he is in 2006.

Regardless, the apparently doctored image was used as Merriman's official headshot for 2005. Here it is on NFL.com. And also on the Getty Images site. We posted below a copy of the page from the 2005 media guide.

We hope that this finally closes the case.

Did anyone stop to think that in order to get Merriman's face and neck to fit the body of Jamal Williams that they'd have to stretch it out?

Nice to see coach peewee still hasn't responded and is still having fun posting in the quattro.

    Respond to what??

He's a roid boy. That's why he was so effective last year and that's why he hasn't been too effective this year. If they're not blitzing him, then he should be active as covering the flats. But, his productivity has declined.

    He needs his roids.

And, I was busy watching Chuck and Heroes.

To you claiming I was defending his roid use. You can't.

No one's saying he wasn't a roid boy, yet you accuse me of defending it? This thread was about a doctored picture, which I called from the start. But to blame the amount of sacks he has this year on him not using roids is foolish, especially when you don't understand the defensive system they're using or the extent that teams are game planning for Merriman. Merriman leads the team in tackles for losses, sounds to me like he's covering the flats pretty well. Rivera is building a complete linebacker, not just some guy who can blitz. If you believe it was all the roids, explain to me than how Shaun Phillips sack numbers are also down.

He's been used in blitzing 50% less than last year. Next.
so you admit he's a one-trick pony who is useless in coverage/run support? cuz Ware is badass at both of those.

That is all he ever did in college and he wasn't asked to do it last year. As I said above, he's being taught to be a complete player. And yes, I think Ware is a very underrated in coverage.

Actually, I've admitted on this very site that I hated Romo after he left the Broncos and before he was there as well.

That was my point ass clown, we will root for players we normally wouldn't if they are on our team.

And yes, I hate the Cowboys.

Man, i hate Romo with a passion right now. Hate the fact that Sharpe won a championship with the Ravens. Loved and rooted for both of them when they were broncos. I think you might actually be proving the point John Smith was trying to make. I never said you had to love them before and after they were on your team. You have to love them when they ARE on your team. Learn to read a post buddy.

How can you continue to be a fan of a player that got caught cheating?

Same reason Cowboys fans are suddenly huge TO supporters.

you forgot to say everyone in san antonio is fat.

    You're right:

Everyone in San Antonio is fat
    happy?
