Well neither am I, but my husband is quite the expert (he also brews his own) so I have had plenty of exposure. If you are interested in trying something new, I have some recommendations for "beginners" in your area (Baltimore, right?). There's the Capitol City Brewery at the Inner Harbor that has a decent "Amber Waves Ale", but my favorite is the "Pale Rider Ale". I think there is also a Ram's Head Tavern there (maybe in Little Italy? I don't remember exactly, but it is across the street from the Francis Scott Key house) and they have a good " es Lager"; I've only ever been to the Annapolis location. But my favorite is the Du Claws Brewery, they have a really great "Bare Ass Blonde"; it is at Arundel Mills in Hanover. If you try any of them, give me your opinion, as I am a lightweight too!

I will try it out one weekend I want to try out something different. Arundel Mills is my hangout too! You seem to know about MD. You must visit quite often.
Just ignore Peewee he can't help it; he's a REAL man (Neanderthal)
