No joke, some no-name QB completing ten passes in a row? WTF is up with THAT?
    Kurt Warner?

That was like the Buffalo game. Those two games I swear the team ed themselves over with little bull things more often and still managed to win than I've seen in any other game in a few years. Green Bay has obviously taken advantage of a relatively weak schedule void of the Pats and other decent to good AFC teams.

So where will Jason Garrett be coaching next year?
Jerry will s out to lock him up.

Worse: Aaron Charles Rodgers, with a lifetime QBR of 48.6 in his two-plus years. Ended up 18-26 for 201, 1 TD, 0 INTs.

No, that would be the Pats that get to play 6 games against those teams.

I mean more like getting two games against the god awful Detroit Lions.

I am happy as for the win but I hope Favre comes back....he deserves to go out with the ball in his hand.

As long as he doesn't beat Dallas.

They also played and beat every other NFC East team.

I'm sure GB can lose by 20+ to NE as well.

It all means nothing. You play who they tell you to play.

And that god awful Lions team beat the Cowboys last year when the NFCE crown was still up for grabs.

Anything can happen on any given Sunday.

    And I accidentally edited this:

    Schedule smack is weak.

    Save it for the BCS.

    Schedule smack is weak.
So have the Cowboys, and they beat the second best NFC east team twice. Isn't it an NFC east team that beat the Lions by 1412412341241241234 points at the beginning of the season? I think it was.

Whatever you make of the "schedule smack", as you put it, the fact remains that Green Bay is a good story and a good team, but not on the same level as the Cowboys when the Cowboys decide to come out and play like they did for the first quarter and a half of this game. The problem the Cowboys have is mentally ing up in coverages and focus and making otherwise marginal or ty players (Rodgers) look awesome. Lack of focus in big games will get you beaten eventually.

The Lions aren't god awful, I was just ribbing ya a bit. They are either hot or cold, and it looks like they may be cold at the moment.

Everybody was beating the Cowboys last year after Thanksgiving. Not a huge accomplishment last season.

    You're wrong.

The Cowboys are just as flawed as the Packers are. They made be a tad better due to the fact that their running game is more consistent, but they are very similar teams.

You're wrong. The Cowboys have a more consistent and better QB at this point, a much, much, much, MUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCHHHH HHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH better offensive line (that can't be stated enough just how much better the Cowboys O line is), a much better running attack, an infinitely better TE corps, the best overall WR on either team, etc.

The only thing the Packers have that is better is the secondary, and it's not that much different. The Cowboys lit them up like a christmas tree when they were actually playing the game with any focus at all. The Cowboys beat them playing their A game for a quarter and a half and their D game the rest of the way. Big difference.

Did anyone catch Gumble refer to Tony as "Rick Romo"???

    Good stuff.

  17. #67
I didn't clarify. The Cowboys beat them by 10 with giving 2 1/2 quarters of the game away because Brett Favre got injured and they decided the game was over and effort/focus was no longer necessary.

Gumble couldn't even figure out which team was in which uniform. If you can't do that you can't do jack as a commentator. Also, I believe Marion Barber is the heart of the Packers offense.

    Yea..

Dude was horrible. I muted the game in the second half because he was so ing annoying and ended up listening on the radio which was equally annoying because the radio was early.

Like I said, the 'Boys may be a tad better, but from what I saw tonight, the Pack can definitely beat them. They have to get healthy to do it, though.

Anyone in the NFL can beat anyone else in the NFL - the ing Raiders can beat the Pats on a given day. The Eagles with AJ suck ass Feely had the Pats on the ropes. That doesn't mean anything. Down the line - man to man - the Cowboys own considerable advantages over the Packers. That said, they still have to play smart and consistent to beat anyone they face on most nights.

The health excuse isn't air tight. The Cowboys racked up wins with both CB's injured, starting LB injured for first 4 games, a secondary that has never been at 100%, and the speed receiver and 2nd best receiver on the team hasn't played a down all year. The secondary was decimated against the Pats, maybe the Cowboys with a healthy secondary are the better team?

I bet it's 40% Pack fans. It was close to that for the NE game.
There are alot of bandwagon jumpers in the world. The Cowboys probably have more than anybody; Pittsburgh has alot too, and the Packers have had alot in the Favre era. Indy and NE have alot these days.

After watching the elite Boston Celts kick ass tonight, I watched the rest of the pretenders matchup between the Cowboys/Packers. Out of those 2 pretenders Dallas is hands down the best team in the NFC. However when they have to face the best defense and offense in the nfl aka the New England Patriots come Febuary, they might as well call it a season. Pats are unbeatable. Plain and simple and it showed this Sunday when they played like and still won.

Not even a good troll. Whoever pulled this one out needs to retire it immediately. Pathetic trolling effort.
