Sean Elliott said that the knee is stable. They are calling it an ankle sprain and a knee contustion right now. We'll see after the MRIs are done.
Oh man I hope he's right.

Duncan will be okay. This team is still good enough to win games. Duncan just needs to rest and not rush back. In fact he should come back after 12/17.
    Horry ready for 12/17?

The Spurs franchise player needs an MRI on his knee. You don't think it's thread worthy?

Depends how bad the sprain is, sometimes that hurts like a at first and then after a good night's rest it feels much better. I admit i was getting into the Spurs great start record wise, but if Timmy needs say a month off, fine by me.

I doubt he'll need that much time. Though I agree with the idea he should take what he needs.

    time for small ball?

if duncan's going to be out, i hope pop plays a starting lineup of oberto, ginobili/barry, finley, parker, and bowen rather than putting bonner or horry in there.

I think he just doesn't want anyone blaming the injury for a loss on Wednesday.

Or maybe he's a lot classier than I give him credit for, in which case, accept my pre-emptive apologies.

    This was scary to watch.
For the moment, it seems that it isn't a serious injury but let's wait for the MRI tomorrow.

Hmmm....Interesting. I just Jammed my knee inwards on Thanksgiving playing football. I remember that queezy feeling that usually follows after something breaks (similar feeling when I broke my wrist). 2 days later it was fine!
It really depends. He probably just tweaked it hard.

    JUST IN: RIGHT KNEE CONTUSION

    TIM IS FINE

Let that MRI come back with a good result and I'll breathe a sigh of relief.

I can live with Timmy taking a 2 week vacation in December.

Sounds like the ankle took the main hit here when he twisted it. They said it was a knee contusion, as if he just banged his knee. If the Knee was hurt because he twisted it, i would be very worried about a tear. That does not appear to be the case.
