I am with the Funt on this one but we had to make an exception in our house. With the wife working at Michael's, the holiday season is her busiest time so we put them up Thanksgiving night because with our schedules, we may not have much time after that.
I don't wait quite that long, but I do keep my tree up through Epiphany.
I put out my Advent stuff first.
I won't be having a tree at all this year. Again.
It sucks. My parents finally gave me all of the really cool vintage ornaments and decorations, and I never get to use them because I'm always the one who has to travel.

Do you all have artificial trees? Because real ones will get so dried out before Christmas, especially with Thanksgiving so early this year.
Yup. We've never had a "real" one. I don't want to have to deal with the mess and the fire hazard thing has always made me leary.
