linking cover art is pretentious now? We've always done that in Spurtalk music threads. Its more of a tradition.
God damn why do we keep letting these dip s in the door?
I've only had it for a few hours but
is the !
Your one liners pretty much suck.
Yeah this album is better than Food & Liquor IMO. I downloaded it a couple of days ago when it leaked but i stll bought a real copy today anyway. Definately worth the money.
i like both albums, but in my opinion food and liquor>>>the cool. both are good though.
keep sleeping on joe beezy!

Pearl Jam Live at the Gorge
Also my favorite album cover in a long time.
Very nice music selection. Although, I must say, Rilo Kiley's Under the Blacklight left me a little bit disappointed. I was really sad about that too because Rilo Kiley is one of my favorites. Have you listened to any of Jenny Lewis' solo stuff?

Got it.
Yay for Iron & Wine and The Chariot. Good to see some of my other favorite bands getting some airplay.
Thanks! When I went through the thread again (looking for new cds to pick up) I noticed you had Andrew Bird too; great album and my favorite cover of the year.
I haven't listened to her solo album yet (came out in 2006 right?); any recommendations for songs? Or should I just pick the whole thing up? I agree with you though, I think the first two albums are better...but after a couple of listens this album has started growing on me. It's probably her voice though.
I think My Shepherd's Dog is his best album yet.
I just started listening to the newest wilco and I like what I hear so far, I do however have to be in a relaxed mood to listen to it.
I want to get this cd, is it out yet? Its 3 discs right?
I stood about 60 feet from Pearl Jam at Lollapalooza. I have never been a huge Pearl Jam follower, but their concert was pretty awesome, even though he tended to ramble on stage between songs quite a bit. The music and atmosphere were both pretty epic.
Yeah I have seen the 3 times and can't wait for the 4th.
I can't get enough of Andrew Bird. Armchair Apocrypha was an awesome follow up to Andrew Bird & the Mysterious Production of Eggs.
Her solo album is worth picking up. Rise Up With Fists, Melt Your Heart and You are What you Love are a few of my favorite tracks. I can understand how an album can grow on you with Jenny Lewis singing - her voice resonates gorgeousness.
Three full concerts on 7 discs
holy crap I need to get it, is it out?
Yeah it's been out for a while.
