What a ing badass way to enter New Years Eve! Going into the new year with the Red Sox winning the world series, Patriots being 16-0 and soon to be 19-0, and the Celtics off to a 26-3 start concluding an impressive road trip and getting better as the season goes on! Man life ing rocks in this badass sports town.

Yes, it's a bit silly for a career scrub/journeyman such as Posey to be making these kinds of comments, as if he is some kind of authority on winning basketball intensity.
Pats 2008 Superbowl Champs and Boston Celtics 2008 ECF Champs and possibly 2008 Champs. Your city is a piece of these days when it comes to sports. The Lions,Tigers arent anything to brag about. The Pistons are the only good thing happening in that city. Oh and maybe Eminem and the has been with a big ass gut in kid rock.
I think the arrogance from this Celtics team is laughable. You have to win something before you have any authority to talk smack.
Anything can happen in the playoffs, as evidenced by the Warriors destruction of the 1st place Mavs last season. I'll take a battle-tested Spurs team over the Celtics any day of the week in the playoffs. There may be a lot of veterans on the Celtics, but there are no winners. Your big 3 has a grand total of 0 rings. Doc Rivers has 0 rings. In fact, the Big Ticket has made it out of the 1st round of the playoffs only once in his entire career. Allen and Pierce have had similar disappointed playoff records.
And finally, how the can you even be proud of a team that was literally handed to you overnight? You basically went from the worst team in the NBA to one of the best through an ex-Celtic GM. Since when have two franchise players been traded to the same team in one offseason? It's pretty ridiculous when you think about it. And if the Celtics don't win any rings this will all have been a complete failure for your franchise. You have NO young developing talent and will be cellar dwellers for the next decade when the big 3 are done.

If i didn't know any better i would say you were jealous of what they have. Isn't the point to win now and see what happens later? celtics do actually have some good young talent in Rondo, Perkins, Davis for example. Yeah when KG, Allen and Pierce are gone things will be different but the Spurs will suck for a while too as lets face it the spurs don't have any real young talent either apart from parker.
the aim is to win now and both the spurs and celtics are built to win now not later....

i think its pretty unfair the call the members of the big 3 "losers".
when has any of them been on a team where they were supposed to win it all ? i mean seriously.... the only time any of them was on a team that was even close to good enough to win it all is KG's team with cassell and sprewell, and cassell was injured during that WCF series.
im surprised there are so many still doubting this team though. people are in complete denial if they think the celtics arent in the same class as the top teams in the west..... IMO they are already BETTER than the mavs and suns. neither of them has defense as good as the celtics.
