DRob and Duncan are unquestionably superior players, but without Ice, the Spurs wouldn't have been included among the ABA teams admitted to the NBA in 1976.

DRob and Duncan are the "best", but Ice is probably the "greatest".

Without DRob, the Spurs would have left San Antonio long ago.
