I don't know what to think about the West. There is no team I see that you can say for sure they are heavy favorites. The Spurs,Suns are playing .500 ball sort of just there. The Mavs you don't know what to expect come playoff time. It won't surprise me if the East wins this year. The West playoffs will be a WWE cage match this season. I'm sorry the Mavs are not a championship team. When you go up 17 to the 4th you don't blow those leads at home. If we have Bynum this game is ours.
Dallas always play only 3 quarters, much like the spurs nowadays. The big difference is dallas forgets that there's a 4th, while the spurs forgets that there's always a 1st.
