Most physicians will have you get a tetanus shot if you get cut like this and it has been more than 5 years since your last Tetanus shot.

I cut the back of my leg with rusty barbwire, not very deep, drew blood, washed it off with peroxide afterwards. Been at least... 6 or 7 years since my last booster. Last time I got the shot i remember it hurt like a . It felt like I got punched in the arm 100 times in the same spot. I don't want to get it again, but should I?

Your'e supposed to have a tetanus booster every 10 years so you are probably alright. But be sure of the date of your last booster - time recall is iffy and it is likely that it's been longer than 6-7 years.

seriosuly though it was ed up.. i wasn't going to get one but then like a week later i stepped on a syringe behind my apartment complex. I got sick like a week later and i freaked out thinking i had tetanus or hepa is or something worse. i went and got a tetanus (shot) and they took like 5 viles of blood to do tests on... i am ok, nothing showed up on the tests but I have to go back in 6 months to get re-tested just to be safe
