The Pats/Rams SB taping was allegedly of the Rams Superbowl red zone offensive plays run at half/walk through speed. I think defensive players would be very interested in that.

Cheaters don't stick to one side of the ball when they could exploit both. The Patriots are a disgrace, and the NFL only slightly less so by continuing to try to sweep this under the rug.

WASHINGTON (AP) -- Bill Belichick has been illegally taping opponents' defensive signals since he became the New England Patriots' coach in 2000, according to Sen. Arlen Specter, who said NFL commissioner Roger Goodell told him that during a meeting Wednesday.

"There was confirmation that there has been taping since 2000, when Coach Belichick took over," Specter said.

I answered your question to the best of my knowledge. Could the Chargers have left him off the injury report on purpose knowing there was a chance he may not play, sure. But I don't see the NFL investigating any such matters. I didn't see any fines handed out and haven't heard any clamor about it, except from you.
