What Mavs fans don't get is that the only reason Spurs fans bring up hardware difference is to help Mavs fans remember, that's all. I mean, by the way they throw around in here, you'd think Mavs fans have developed amnesia.

In this context, it just seems a little sensitive. OP posted a youtube clip of a sick posterization, he wasn't calling out the Spurs at all or questioning their le supremacy. From there it degenerated into a poo-flinging name-calling contest, probably the fault of both sides.
I'm not a board nanny, write what you like. And it has nothing to do with jealousy, I root for my team for probably the same reason you root for yours, geographical proximity...
its not about he said she said, but don't call out the 'oversensitive' spurs fans and not your own mav fans who are just as guilty according to you.
and while raised on the spurs because I live in SA, I actually was not a huge spurs fan til they got Tim. Call me a bandwagoner but its true - however, unlike most, I was a fan of his even before he was drafted by the spurs; the spurs drafting him was like a dream come true.

Oh, Shank and mono like to spar, no denying that. I think it's mostly in good fun, rarely have I gotten genuinely pissed at something I've read on here. It's a Spurs board, so it's a little unrealistic to come here expecting people to praise the Mavs.

and 1.2 million people live in dallas. reason I ask was I always thought it was larger than san antonio but theyre about the same. However, the Dallas-Fortworth-Arlington area has 6 million, far more than us.

Spur fans couldn't shut up about Manu dunking on Yao in a game they lost. It was a big deal and "OMG YAO GOT ED LOL!!!" a few months ago.

My favorite part of Spurstalk is when bags come in near the end of a thread and proceed to say someone "owned" someone else without a reason why. And - get this - it's always a Spursheep supporting another. Imagine that. None of you can think for yourselves.

As much of a Manu fan as I am I can still admit it was a sick ing dunk and Manu got his ass posterized. I still liked his effort in getting back though.
The only purpose of this thread was to provoke that reaction. Go to a Mavs forum under the name of a Spur fan and post a video of Dirk getting dunked on. I bet they wont go "wow awesome dunk" "Dirk got owned".
