I'm a fan of all the Dallas Pro Teams except the Mavs...because I'm from Dallas...
They conclude that because I am a fan of the:
Rangers
Cowboys(along with 90% of the other Spursfans)
I must also have been a Mav fan at one point...
In their ingorance they overlook the fact that I chose my teams in the seventies and the Mavs weren't aroind then...on top of that, the Spurs originated in Dallas in the first place.

I couldn't help but think that the biggest potential drawback to this trade isn't losing Harris and Diop because of how they give the Spurs fits. What good does it do to be able to beat the Spurs if you can't advance far enough to face them?
How long has Kidd been on the trading block? It's probably going to take about 10 games or so for these guys to get some kind of on-court chemistry going. There isn't that kind of luxury this year in the West. A lot of the sloppy turnovers came from guys not being in the correct position to receive his passes, not being in sync on where to set the picks, etc. Switching out your PG two months before the money season doesn't leave for much time to get it together, it's a bigger adjustment to replace quarterbacks than it is for Shaq or Gasol to take up space on the low blocks for their respective teams.
I'm wondering why they couldn't have done this earlier. But we have a nice little three-game stretch of Grizzlies, T-Pups and Bulls to get us back in the W column.
You guys flat out screwed up by trading Devin Harris...Period....at least when it comes to playing us.
