    I'm pretty sure Barry is coming back. He said at the begining of the season he wants to finish a Spur and this is his last season, why would he just go to some other random team who has no shot at winning a le like the Spurs do.

    Weird statement there E20. Barry is not looking to go to some scrub team. He would only be looking at teams that have a shot to win the championship. Like Pop said there is possibly 6 or 7 teams that have a shot at it from the looks of it so far this season.

    Obviously Manu wants him back and is doing his part in persuasion.

    No one seriously thought Barry would entertain Houston. They don't really appear to be contenders.

    It's down to SA, Pheonix and Boston (that we know of).

    Several people think Pheonix is the insider, lots of people think SA is, and Boston only further confuses the issue. Jon Barry gave an interview that said Brent most wants to win, and so will seriously consider where he is most likely to do that.

    The bad news for Spurs fans is that he can't resign for a month. And even if he decides tomorrow that he wants to return to the Spurs, in that month, it will become more clear where people stand as the trades settle out and temas begin the playoff pushes in earnest. He's got a lot of time to think about who is really looking like championship material - and he can choose to wait 29 days and sign with anyone.

    I really want him to come back to us.

    So Kerr doesn't mind giving more money then the Spurs and watching him ride the pine as long as he's not back in SA
