All my championship hopes for that year colapsed in a heap with him. That the Spurs actually took a few more games to give up was a pleasant surprise, but that they gave up wasn't. A surprise that is.
wait cause this year it will be revange

great... now we have to deal with the re-emergence of bag Mav troll until the game is over. And if the New Look Mavs (aka the slower older Mavs) actually win it will be weeks before they go away.
As you can tell I love it when Mav fan shows back up.![]()

Yeah well even if we had DA in the LA series I don't think that the spurs would have won.
Damn Lakers were fabulous that year in the playoffs. Spurs were so predictable that Horry and Harp were laughing at Spurs cause they knew what the spurs gonna play and they were on the places on the court they knew the spurs players will be.
Why the are there always Mavs & Suns fans on this board? Is it a fetish with them? Is it so boring on their fan forum that they have to come visit us? Sh!t...I'd never consider going over to their forums...do they even have any??? It's just funny...maybe a little sad too though...every time I start following a Spurs thread, there's a Mavs or Suns fan looking for a few crumbs from the people here. Are you guys that damn lonely? Is it jealousy? What?? Get a life...or get a team!
I believe his point is that is too early to be celebrating don't you think?
Who's celebrating? We aren't scheduling any parade. We save that for the summer time. Nothin more than a little acknowledgement.
I couldn't disagree more. The Spurs looked pretty good up until that injury, and they only played out the rest of that series just because they were angry at the Mavs. Their heart was never in that series with the Lakers without DA.
Acknowlegement is a celebration? You may actually be a Suns fan, since you can't tell the difference.
Exactly.
The Spurs will repeat not being able to win back to back les.
Yeah but still LAkers were more powerfull that year.
We had no slasher, DA was the only one who could provide some frshnes to the stagnat spurs.
We had no pint guard, AJ was done, we had old Porter and Antonio Daniels who if in a game had to go against Kobe who had lots of adventages (shooting, dominant force inside for excample).
In 2002 DRob had great problems with his back. But history does not vremember that kind of stuff. The history remember only winners and some great moments.
Wow. There are alot of jealous Non-Spur fans on this board. We're not even able to be happy about our team's standing at this point. Apparently we have to ask Laker, Sun and Mav fans if its okay to show some props to the Spurs.
Yeah I'm so jealous of your aging team when the Lakers are on the brink of yet another dynasty.
Thanks to Juwan for that.
Laker fans are some of the most dillusional fans around.
Damn I should be in a Guiness book of records for the most typos in a hisory of an internet...
Do you remember Dave & Tim commercial?
You know with the shaving or something ...

And Spurs fan continues to be in denial about their inevitable playoff exit.
Hopefully the Spurs can last long enough this postseason so the Lakers can send them off proper.
Remember the last time the Western conference fielded this many teams above 50 wins? Yeah, the Lakers laughed their undefeated way through the West playoffs when a litte San Antonio blip on the radar got swept away in 4 effortless games.
Another day, another Laker troll. Such is life in SpursTalk.
you know...now I remember why I hated laker fan so much when they were good.
O so is Shaq back? Is Horry playing for the Lakers again? I saw him in a Spurs jersey last night.I can't believe how Laker fans are so dillusional. I don't even know what to say. You sound so convinced you have the le this year. Are you forreal? Please tell me you don't really believe it will be thiers? You let the media hype go to your head.
There is just absolutely no pressure on the Spurs to repeat, since they are considered the sixth or seventh best team in the league. I can't think of a better position to be in when the playoffs roll along.
