I believe this year is the Spurs best chance to repeat.
The championship core has remained intact and the role players seem even better then previous years.
And they were acquired with ample time to get acclimated to the system Pop runs before the playoffs.
Every banner year the Spurs front office seems to make some savvy move that isn't highly heralded, but just happens to be the right button pressed.

Timing is everything.
While other teams in the west will be still getting used to their new additions, the Spurs are working on getting that championship mentality. It's good to see them finally start getting fired up.
This March schedule is exactly what the Spurs need going into the playoffs. It's a brutal 18 game run, with 5 back to backs.. They will be tested and pushed, and will emerge resolved and focused, ready and hungry.
Throw in the injuries to Yao, Bynum and to a lesser extent Kobe, the exodus of Marion, the Spurs desire to once and for all silence all the naysayers..
I believe the Spurs Dynasty is cemented this year barring injury.
Td is the anchor, TP the rudder, and Ginobili is the whirlwind and the sails! (and your finals MVP).

Yeah I was saying in the chat the other day, if the Spurs get to the Finals and Ginobili plays the way he has been lately, it'll be real hard not to give him the MVP. , if the league MVP wasn't voted on by the media he could make a strong case for that one too.
