sure he did. you see him smiling, right?
t-mac wanted dirk to play so they wouldn't have any excuses.
sure he did. you see him smiling, right?
not like now....this is a different team. this team actually has chemistry now. also, the power forward position has become much improved with the development of scola and landry since they last played. i don't see how you guys get us off the boards.
maybe i am getting it mixed up with another player on the rockets but i thought t-mac said he didn't want any excuses. let me try to find the whole article.
edit....i am an idiot and it was probably just t-mac making one of his bag comments and me inferring too much. i thought there was more to the interview but there wasn't.
knew it was coming because Al Horford was suspended earlier this year for a very similiar play.
Bill Laimbeer and Charles Oakley would never have lasted in today's NBA.
Sad but true.
So Dirk should break his foot?
But guards going to the rim untouched is so much more exciting! The NBA's been pussy since Stern's stupid rule changes for the 99-00 season. Sucks that we'll never see a series like Boston-LA '84 or Boston-LA '87 again.
A lot of these players in the league wouldn't have made it in that NBA either. The game is much softer across the board.Skill level and basketball IQ as well.
I don't buy that at all. The athletes in the game are incredible right now, and have much better shooting range on average than in the 80s or 90s.
That sucks for Dallas, but you know the rules.
whooo hooo!!! Take care of business with the Pacers tonight and then tomorrow night we get to play destructo with the Mavs. hahah

Dirk. The Rockets were going to beat them with that pussy anyways.
You mean like the Patriots tanked to move up in the draft? Oh wait, they lost that pick. Nevermind.
Just make sure they insert a screw in Dirk and Kidd's feet so they can show the X-rays if someone asks. You've gotta be committed when you tank.
Last I checked the Patriots were picking 7th in the draft. They didn't have to tank, San Francisco did it for them. So nevermind is right.
well that didnt happen and i prefer to see a Suns loss
LOL...so true
Nowitzki was frustrated because the Mavs were getting their asses kicked. Same reason JET went after Bowen the other night.
If Dirky had just brought his arm down on AK, it would have been a Flagrant I. Kirilenko wouldn't have gotten hurt, and Nitwitzki wouldn't be suspended. He held on, and drug Kirilenko to the floor. It was a chicken move, and a of a lot more dangerous than the bump on Nash that got Horry a 2 game suspension.
And for those people claiming that they take harder hits than that in their pick-up games... bull . And maybe, maybe you saw fouls like that happen in years gone by - but you would also see someone come off the bench to kick Nitwitzki's ass for it. The league doesn't allow bench-clearing brawls anymore, so the Flagrant II and suspension are absolutely required.
(I felt like this thread needed a post from someone who isn't a Mavs, Rockets, or Lakers fan.)
I love watching Dirt get suspended.. Maybe next time he decides to flail around like a drowning re he will think twice.
I'm getting sick of the flopping and flying in the NBA (and YES I mean the Spurs as well) But I'm sorry sometimes it just doesn't wash.
Its CONCEIVABLE that occasionally, sometime,s Manu will bounce into Amare and go flying... but not when he hits AI.
Its NEVER probable that Dirt No- -ski will run into Tony Parker and go flying backward 10 feet and land clutching his vagina.
dude stfu, your franchise is pathetic. Letting Nash go, Harris go, trading for a pg in a wheel chair which caused your team to slide further down into irrelevancy; choking in the finals, choking last year to an 8 seed after going 82-0, great ing job.........u wanna talk about pathetic, we talkin bout being pathetic..........
Dallas loses tomorrow.
17 win streak for Houston.![]()
Funny when Mav and Rox fans talk to each other about "choking"
