3years ago NVE and C.Ward also made shots
there's a difference between asking a guy to be more aggressive with his shot, and signing a guy who dribbles for 20 seconds, then shoots.
vaughn > both of them.
If Damon could score 54 in 2005, he should still be able to score 44 in 2008.
What's your point? Didn't Anthony Johnson also score something like 50 points in a playoff game? And he worked out great for the Mavs..![]()
NVE was also awesome for the Mavs in 03, then played horrible for the Spurs in 06.
and that time gap is EXACTLY why Pop should've never pursued him. All he had to do was look at current production. Obviously Pop was thinking he was getting the '03 NVE.
Come on guys...Loosen up. We're winning right? save it when we start losing again![]()
It doesn't matter the Spurs are going nowhere!
I think they're exactly where they want to be. They're be there when it matters
In the space of 2 months Stoudamire has gone from starter to playing scrub mins when the game is over. For a new guy on a championship team that's one big transition. When Parker wasn't around and JV was strugling, he was handy.(no complaints from fans either) Now that Pop has finally settled on Stoudamire's role as 3rd string PG, his confidence would be low.. so it shouldn't come as a surprise that he sucking it up. NVE and Ward were given a lot longer to prove them selfs. A few fans should try lowering their expectations and move on.
Yesterday, he could barely even score on Minnesota. That's suckin'.
