You don't play 2 quarters and deserve to win. Good for you GS.

GS is a gimmick team....good win on the road but there is no way they beat the lakers when either Gasol or Bynum are in. Oh well, much a do about nothing really. Big shots by Jackson and Kobe.

The only thing worse than seeing Jackson hit two dagger threes in a row is watching these moronic Warrior broadcasters act like they won a ing championship.

DONT MENTION THE FACT THAT THE LAKERS ARE STILL MISSING BYNUM AND GASOL WHO MIGHT HAVE MADE A DIFFERENCE TONIGHT!

Lakers display better effort when they're not possessing that 1st seed.

I'm going to be in a sour mood for the rest of this night. Oh well.

Much as I think Odom is a bonehead, he was huge tonight, especially in the 4th...kept the Lakers in it...

The loss doesn't bother me. We tried to play small ball with GSW and lost, it wasn't a huge surprise IMHO.

It doesn't matter....we have bigger fish to fry. They can have their victory and may win tomorrow as well. It won't change the fact that they won't get past the 1st round.

Whos to say if you played GS, that their small ball would have Bynum taken off the floor cause he can't keep up?

I don't think there is a single sane Laker fan out there that is scared of GSW. they could win tomorrow night's game and I wouldn't give a . They are a gimmick team that gets exposed when they are forced to play teams with dominant bigmen.

Gasol dropped 40+ on them when he was with Memphis earlier in the season. Bynum has had career games against them as well. We are tailor-made to destroy GSW when healthy. There is no way they are keeping Bynum, Gasol, and Odom off the glass while being able to defend Kobe. It simply isn't happening.

Yeah, if you guys play GS in the first round, and you have Bynum and Gasol back, you'll probably sweep them.

That wasn't the case the first 2 meetings with them w/ Bynum in the lineup (though we lost that 2nd game...actually, we "threw" it away).
He was pretty dominant against them. Small ball didn't bother him.

Not to mention, early in the season, Phoenix's small ball definitely did not bother Bynum.

Dallas fell prey to that last year. Bynum won't be 100% too, so that will slow him down even more. LA might not face GSW though. The standings change with every game. Every team is tied or .5 games behind each other.

Big ball kills the Warriors...that's the only way. You may win playing small like we did today in the second half but that's where they excel. Quick drives and quicker shots. Once you have a low post presence you nullify their drives and eventually their shots stop falling. Move on.....

LMAO at everyone thinking the Warriors are going to beat the Lakers in a 7 game playoff series.

Do I need to reiterate again the Lakers are playing without Bynum and Gasol? They are collectively our biggest weapon against this team. You dominate them on the boards and stop their penetration and they become a perimeter chucking team. They may win a game or two with hot shooting but certainly not a best of 7.

Yeah, except that Bynum had no problems against the Warriors their first two meetings.

I think of all the western playoff teams, GS is by FAR the softest.

Sorry, but as much I enjoy watching them play, and think Davis and SJax are total studs, I can't think of any other team that gives up as many leads as they do. Yeah, they won tonight, but I think their style of play burns them out much faster than the way it would burn out the Suns in certain games.

They are playing Baron and Jackson damn near 48 minutes a night and are fighting just to get into the playoffs. They won't have anything left in the tank to make a deep playoff run. Nelly has some good rooks that he never plays and it will cost him in the post season, if they make it.

People never learn. The Mavs fans were singing this very same tune last year. Anything is possible in the playoffs. And you're acting like Bynum is suddenly going to be 100% playing as if he were never injured and totally in sync with the team. Keep dreamin'. And NO ONE fears taking the ball at Gasol...dude is softer than wet Charmin.
