Give it a rest. I'll trade our coach for your's right now. And quit whining about your bigs. Injuries are a part of the game.
No that is the entire reason we lost tonight. Put Gasol, Bynum in the game and we win easy.

This was a poor poor loss. These are the kind of games you cannot afford to lose. We caught the Bobcats on a back-to-back and failed to take advantage. None of the remaining games we have left will be easy until we get our bigs back. We are going to have to scrap for everything from this point onwards.

And don't sleep on the Bobcats, they beat the Celtics twice this year. They are a good team when they are focused.

Okay..But your team without those two is still better than the Bobcats. This just shows you that nothing is automatic in the NBA. Even with Gasol/Bynum you could have still lost.

Of course not, but the Bobcats took advantage of our one weakness tonight. They owned us in the paint. Turiaf and Odom could not contain Wallace/Okafor/Nazr. That was the ballgame right there. If we had some sort of interior presence on defense this game would have been easy.

At the end of the day, the Hornets are in great position to claim the #1 seed. They are 2 up in the loss column on the Rockets, Lakers, Spurs. They also currently own the tie-breaker against each of these teams.

As of now the most probable scenario looks like NO at #1, the Lakers & Spurs battling for the 2/3 spots, Utah at #4, Phoenix and Houston battling for 5/6, Dallas, Denver and G-State fighting for the last 2 slots.

If this is the way things pan out, the last Spurs-Lakers game could become very important in deciding home-court.

Not surprised we lost and we will probably even lose some other games we should win before we get healthy. With Gasol and Bynum out our offense is nothing but jumpshots and drives from Kobe and Odom. Kobe also had a terrible game. Until we get back our 7 footers this is not surprising at all.

Right now, they are 5 games out of the 8th seed with 11 games to go, so yes, mathematically they are still alive, but it is highly unlikely they will make the playoffs.

Payback for injuring yourself against the Lakers in the pre-season? Off a Luke Walton crossover of all things.

Bobcats have been the Lakers' achilles heal for some time now. I don't know what it is about this team but they always bring out the worst in the Lakers. That's the only sub .500 that "owns" these Lakers.
