World championships are every 4 years!
However, if you are talking about NBA championship - in my case Boston Celtics - 1965
celtics 84
then I became a Magic fan in 1985 (yes it's true)
I'm no genious i just googled it, i didn't even know that St. Louis had a BB team.

The year I was born the Boston Celtics defeated the San Francisco Warriors.
That was 196freakin4. Wilt would have been the MVP if they had an MVP award back then.
[EDIT: probably not, since Wilt was on the Warriors in '64]

I win the old person's derby. Mine is 1951, Rochester Royals.
New York Knicks (over the Lakers) in 1973
Lakers over 76ers, 1982
1983- 76er's
At least Dr. J was on that team.
Try this. There was NO NBA the year I was born. It may have been a dream in someones head, since it was actually started the following year. Of course, at first it wasn't called the NBA.
88' don't know who won Pistons maybe??
1967 Philadelphia 76s
also, the Lakers won in '72 not Portland
1983 Dr J and Moses Malone's sixers. To add to this trivia I was born exactly one day after the sixers won the le that year.
1988 was the Magic Johnson Lakers repeat year.
I guess I'm too late for the list but Bill Walton and the Blazers won in 1977, the year I was born.
"It was one of the greatesht moments in NBA hishtory"
HighLow must be sleeping off his BUZZ.
1970/71 - Milwaukee Bucks
1971/72 - Los Angeles Lakers
