If memory serves the Spurs won games in the NBA Finals several times scoring in the seventies. Knicks and Cavs series I think.

Mavs fans do not need to say anything right now. They beat a suns team with probably a seven man rotation with a 36 year old center, 35 year old SF and a 34 year old point guard. Phoenix is a paper lion. Dallas is a paper lion.

The Mavs were MUCH more dangerous to San Antonio in their previous configuration. This bunch will have a difficult time beating SA four times. I think they get two games and lose in six to the Spurs right now.

Duncan, Ginobili and Park can all take turns on those guys and put too much pressure on Dallas.

I have full confidence that Spurs will turn it up when it really matters. The stupidest thing the Spurs did against the Mavs in 06 was going down 1-3. Thats when they realized they had to buck up. It caught up with them, because they didn't win, but this year Mavs have Spurs attention and will welcome that matchup to get thier revenge.

Its cuz Tony P did'nt have a good shooting game, and manu only took eight shot, and the spurs played great defense, or u could say that portland was a jump shooting team through out the game, even when Duncan was not in the game they choose to hit jump shot, and i do think that are interior defense is kind of over rated without Timmy in the game, but some teams just dont realize that dont attack us. But we won, and thats all that matters....

It's not like huge scoring droughts are a new thing for the Spurs this season. They have been consistently inconsistent on the offensive end. The reason for that is they are not getting good production from anyone outside of the big 3.

No Horry, no Barry, and Finley in a slump. Those guys were all vital to the Spurs winning it all last year. To think that the Spurs can just clamp down and defense and forget about the other end of the floor is foolish. We saw what happened when UTA shutdown Duncan and limited Parker's penetration, a complete blowout.
