GAME 6 - Prophetic Prognostications, Gumbo style

Alright es, as you should know, I got 8.167/10 correct last time I made predictions for a game. So here's how it's gonna pan out tonight. (spoilers below)...

1. Game will be close until the 4th

2. Peja gets 2 3's

3. CP and West both get double double's

4. Tony Longoria will have a mediocre game

5. Janerro Pargo will finally find his shooting touch and have a great game

6. Many spanish curse words will be heard inside the building

7. Crowd will be quiet compared to most WNBA crowds

8. We'll see the mariachi band on TV at least 3 times.

9. TD will have another mediocre game against chandler.

10. Spurs fans will go home and cry in their sopapillas.

edit : oh yeah, Hornets win by at least 10

I surely hope all of those come true. It'll be tough though.

3 large cu bers, peeled, thinly sliced
1 cup white vinegar
3/4 cup water
3/4 cup sugar
1 teaspoon salt
dash ground cayenne pepper
dash dried parsley flakes
1/8 teaspoon black pepper
dash dried leaf basil
PREPARATION:
Combine all ingredients except cu bers; heat until sugar melts. Pour warm mixture over cu bers. Store covered in refrigerator.


Cu bers give me gas.

Considering what has happened in the past the following is more like it:

1. Spurs win in a rout.

2. Big 3 dominate, role players hit the open Js and game is over by end of 3rd Q.

3. Peja reverts back to Bowen's .

4. CP3 flops all game long and complains about no calls.

5. West hangs head and fades away under pressure.

6. Spurs fans, giddy over win pronounce series over and threads explode discussing how they will beat the Lakers. More threads appear stating the Kobe is over rated and Gasol is a - insert favorite phrase appropriately describing a wimp.

7. National media jumps back on Spurs bandwagon declaring series over since Spurs won so convincingly.

8. Game 7 - Spurs lead at halftime in a hard fought first half. NO comes out in 3rd Q and in the first 6 miutes blows them away and wins in a rout.

I'll take the first 7 but until the Spurs actually play well in the 3rd Q in NO I don't see anything different happening.

HC rules and NO is in the WCF.

9. Spurs fans collectively jump off nearest cliff.

10. Threads explode with "Fire Pop", "trade Duncan" or "It's been a great run but we're done".

Seen it thrice already, and not going to stop there. Speaking of, kind of, I hear Gambit's going to be in the Wolverine movie. This makes me happy because it maybe, possibly, hopefully, it'd-be- ing-awesome-if-it-happened-but-it-isn't-likely opens the door for a Gambit spin-off, and with that, the possibility of Sinister.
