As a Player. Kobe is a gifted athlete. He always had been.
Perhaps more gifted than Jordan in some ways.
He's fun to watch on the court, and if there is a big shot to take, I'm not sure if there's ever been a person that I would want taking that shot outside of him.
My dislike of Kobe is two-fold.
1) He's a weak moral person
