a more controversial play was Horry not getting ejected for purposely trying to injure David West....He knew what he was trying to do..and you dont lean in on a pick especially when the guy is in the air......
if that was Kobe with the illegal shoulder to the back people would be crying about it for years

Kobe is too much of a pussy to set a pick on someone the size and strength of David West...he'd get steamrolled.

The biggest is a frontrunning trolling Laker "fan".
Lmao... just because the Lakers have been succesful, we aren't allowed to be fans or something? So since I grew up in the So Cal area I'm not allowed to root for the local team, should I root for the Clippers because that way I won't be a "frontrunner". That's just a en lame excuse for bitter fans such as yourself. There's plenty of "frontrunnin" Spurs fans these days as well, I can't blame the die hard Spurs fans for that. That's just how it goes. When a team start winning, they get more badnwaggoners. Doesn't make the fans that were there from the beginning any less of a fan. I started rooting for the Lakers when Eddie Jones was drafted, we weren't winning at the time and I was too young to watch the Showtime Lakers. Fans don't need to en apologize because the team that they root for is successful. They're just lucky to be along for the ride.

eh, this isn't about the success of a particular franchise, even though it's been 6 years since that franchise last managed to win a championship. It's about little bags such as yourself trolling in this forum and posting stupid . I guess you're "winning" something by doing so.

I'd hope so, because odds are you don't have much else going for you.

I think most of the Spurs fans on this board are long-time fans, not frontrunners.

Attacking me doesn't make your point any more relevant, just proves what an insecure little you are. Laker fans are dedicated to their team just like Spurs fans are. You're the hypocrite by calling us "frontrunners" then pointing out how we haven't "done in 6 years". If the Lakers haven't been successful for so long, what makes us such "frontrunners". You can't have it both ways you en moron.

Do Spurs fans completely disregard George Gervin's Spurs career because he never won a championship?

David Robinson's 73 (correct me if I'm wrong, I know it's in the 70s) point game to win the scoring le meaningless because the Spurs didn't win the championship that year?

First of all, he wasn't in the fetal position, and if Kobe got popped in the eye like that, he'd be crying to the refs to call a Flagrant 2 on the guy...Kobe is a little backstabbing primadonna , and you know it...and he'll never win another ring...book it.

No , they only use that argument when it's convenient. It's weak. Just like the OP, asking why the Lakers care about 0.4, then admitting he needed "closure" after that shot.

I feel sorry for these fans who have such haterd for someone they dont know personally...I hate the Spurs but don't wake up and have the need to thrash any of their players..I guess when you are the best all the haters come out...
How do you know Kobe will never win another ring...and when he does what will your argument against him be...he will never win his 5th???

no we don't diss Gervin...the Iceman is a legend. I'm a Redskins fan, too, and while Sonny Jurgensen never won a Super Bowl, he is widely regarded as one of the greatest Redskins, and NFL QBs, of all time.

DRob entered the NBA in 1989...and you are probably thinking of his 71-point game against the Clippers on the last day of the 1994 season that clinched the scoring le for him over Shaq that year.

No, we only use that argument when Lakers fans trot out their "14 Championships", most of which were won before they were even born.

Actually, it was proven that a shot can be taken in less than 0.4.

    Bryant suspended for slapping Ginobili

    Posted: January 30, 2007

NEW YORK -- Kobe Bryant was suspended one game without pay by the NBA on Tuesday and missed the Lakers' loss to the Knicks after his long-shot bid for a hearing was denied.
Bryant was penalized for striking San Antonio's Manu Ginobili in the face late in the Lakers' loss to the Spurs on Sunday.

I never used the 14 Championship angle , I do use the "we won a three peat and you guys never repeated" because I actually witnessed that. I wish I was around to see Showtime though . Must've been fun. My dad used to tell me stories.

So we are in agreement here? .4 is old news and lakers fans aren't really proud of it because it didn't result in a championship. They just bring it up now because they think it hurts Spurs fans feeling? Excellent. Thread over.

next topic of discussion coming soon...
