Colt was able to move his arm and shoulder, there was no break or tear, he should have played. Shoot that with pain killers and roll. Never thought I'd say it but he pussied out.
Even by sucking ass we pissed away wayyyyy too many chances, Bama dominated and give them the credit. Texas did not deserve to sniff within 40 points in this game, we suck ass, and hopefully we can beat ou and aggie next year.

I laughed when I heard the announcers saying Colt is thinking about his NFL future. He has no NFL future. He'll be holding a clipboard as a 2nd or third stringer. He's not a starter.
I'm an OU fan, and I don't even see much out of Sam Bradford as a starting NFL QB.

Lisa Salters did not have the brains to flat out ask Colt what type injury he had, and why he did not go back in. If he was healthy enough to put his pads back on and high five, he sholud have went back in. Otherwise, stand on the sidelines in your t-shirt with your arm in a sling. She just went from a late second round pick to a 4-5 rounder.

We've got a monster recruiting class coming in and with an improved line Newton will be a beast. No worries there.

we recruit undersized smart coaches son white guys for offensive linemen, and we just happened to recruit a small number of them the last two years. This texas team has focused on recruiting QB's and WR's and Defense and has completely overlooked RB's and OLmen. If the guys we have next year do not perform or get hurt we are ed like OU was this year.
The only sports player in the history of sports I have ever wished injury on and wanted to dance on their grave is Kobe Bryant. I hope he s his entrails and dies a painful death. Other than that, aggy, ou, mav, whatever, I wish injury on noone and believe in beating the best to be the best.
Trolling aside, if you hate UT that bad, then that's your right, but if you like good football you just can't be happy with the way this game went even if you wanted Bama to win. What a waste. Colt might as well have gone to the draft and let us begin the Gilbert Era.

Why play and risk permanent injury and a big contract in the NFL? All you guys criticizing him would have done the same thing. You guys dont think Colt wanted to play? He was smart for not coming back.
All in all it's hard to be disappointed. It was good to see the defense keep fighting and watching Gilbert play his first meaningful game...that happened to be the national championship...and almost pulling off the unthinkable. Can't wait until next year.
