After personally visiting Denver and going hiking, I can understand losing this game the way we did:

Everyone's heard of the Al ude Rumors. When you first land at Denver, you can certainly feel the change. But you go out thinking you can do anything anyways, much like how the Spurs got out to a tremendous start. Then, all of a sudden, it kicks in. Just like how the Spurs got down to 19. It's the al ude man, ain't nothing about it. When I went hiking, at first I felt absolutely fine. Then after about 15 or 20 minutes, it's like I hit a brick wall. It gives all Denver/Colorado teams an unfair advantage.. Not to mention, we are down 5 players and referees doing their normal bull calls... (Flagrant bull , and a Bull Blair foul while the Denver player already slipped.)

Also, the al ude messes you up when drinking. My buddy who normally racks up a $150 bar tab at sea level ground got drunk ass wasted after spending $25 in a Denver bar.

good loss tbh. with the league giving the Lakers a big FT advantage in the past 10 games, why get into a first round matchup with them?

i'd rather be fully healthy than worrying about seeding with the way things are playing out.

    Nothing about Cojo's 1-7?
Cojo is still developing his shot. Mills should be instant offense at this point.

spuds losing on purpose to avoid us
No doubt. The way that Pau Gasol's playing lately, I'd rather the Spurs versed Lin (scrub) and Harden.

    Nothing about Cojo's 1-7?
No he's not a "scorer" but then again neither is Mills, he's an embarrassment out there, not ready when his number is called and that's unforgivable. All this ing about Neal, and he didn't have a good night, but at least he put up 17 in his 24 minutes. Mills with 2 pts in 20 minutes 0-5 from 3? You kidding me? He has no role if he is laying house bricks when he's called on.

It has been that way for years now, they live and die by the three. This is not the Spurs I knew during le runs.

From the box score, I really liked the D. Spurs are getting the 2 seed, so imo good loss. People besides Timmy need to start playing better, even if it's Bonner and Blair.

Maybe it's because of the gut-blowing news about our injured players, but I feel more angry about that than I do about this loss.

This team is not going to be fully healthy though or in any sort of rhythm when the playoffs begin. That is concerning alone, period.

He'd be lucky to get minutes in Romania.

He'll respond to your post by not responding. Then he'll go on other threads trashing the other PG's in a subtle way and not mention his Patty Mills .

i see the popovich is tanking for that 2nd spot. people think i'm crazy when i say they are doing this. it's obvious. we've lost some games the past month that were obviously thrown by pop.

I know. I'm just looking for a silver lining. there is a lot to sort out in the offseason. even if we get guys back in time for the playoffs, Manu and Diaw will be out of whack.

all I'm hoping for at this point is to either see the Lakers get demolished in the playoffs or Kobe to suffer a Kevin Ware type injury, as he would actually deserve it unlike the Ware kid.

When the bench walked in, it was pretty much over...

Pop looking disinterested... not calling a timeout when we were bleeding...

Sometimes I think the old man lost some of the fire, tbh...

I trashed Patty this game as well. In fact, I'll even say that he played the worst out of all the guards that played today.

What I'm saying is that Patty shouldn't be in the rotation at this point. He hasn't played meaningful minutes (didn't get minutes for about a month, during which Pop experimented with Cojo, Neal and De Colo), which has got to have some effect on your confidence and belief in your own abilities, and that Pop's gone past even considering him in the backup point guard compe ion.

Who we should be more critical of are the guards that are STILL in the compe ion: De Colo, Neal and Cojo. At this point in the season, Mills isn't even in the conversation.

(btw, I've responded to almost all your responses to my "Mills" comments in the past, so I don't know why you're suggesting that I don't seem to respond to them)

No they are not, injuries and a lack of chemistry is real! They look lost right now, this is not a tank this is reality heading into the playoffs! Spurs are in some trouble now, period.

How do the Spurs allow the Nuggets to spot them 14 and still lose the game?

I never ed about Neal's production this game, nor did I even attempt to compare him to Mills. What are you on about, Splitman4evah?
