    Made the tourney four more times, got to the round of 32 twice. Give him Texas resources and should be even better. Taking VCU to the tourney at all was a big deal.

    The compe ion is going to be much tougher though. We will have to wait and see. I think Marshall would have been a better fit but I do think Shaka is still not a bad choice.

    I think they realize they got the great school they wanted but now with an even better coach. I do like Smart. He brings a youthful energy and they say he is a hard worker and good communicator.
