We need a 4th wing pretty bad -- Anderson isn't an NBA player. Can't shoot, score and makes the turtle "Sheldon" my mom bought for her science class she taught my 11th grade year seem like Usain Bolt.

The pool of free agents are drying up fast.... Spurs are going to have real problems filling up the 4-5 slots open!!!

Where are those cheap backup centers?

    Where is that backup SF?

Where is the extra 3 point shooter!!

It's a looming disaster for free agency!!!

They'll do just fine.. I suspect they'll have another signing by Friday and wrap up the free agency pool shortly after summer league

Yea, I just saw that he signed with the Hornets. Good for him - got out of the trainwreck in Staples...

EDIT: For some reason I thought I read your post as "am hoping" the first time, but now realize that it is past tense. My bad.

i was thinking he'd be a perfect Manu clone. has that knack for turnovers that come with the bold passing and scoring attempts.

Yea, I know a lot of people beat you up for that recommendation. I honestly hadn't considered Lin at all until you mentioned him. I think he would have been a very decent option had Manu walked.

I wish him success in Charlotte. He never wanted to be a Laker (got traded there) and got the out as soon as he could. Good for him!

You are declaring this offseason a disaster.

You need to take a step back.

Thornton can light it up. I'd go with Shved though. Gives us another ball handler off the bench.

How about Glen Robinson III? Can survive in spot minutes just on his athleticism. Shot can be fixed too.
Wow, why would Glen Robinson's son need his shot fixed? I would have figured shooting wouldn't be an issue for him since his Dad was a great shooter.

I hate Spurs fans. I truly do. Even after this ing start to free agency, after pretty much guaranteeing that this franchise will be playing playoff basketball and perhaps better for the rest of the decade (which would cap off 29 out of 30 straight years of NBA playoffs in SA) some MFer is worried about filling out the injured reserve list.

    Got damn.

Dorell Wright would be great...good 3-point shooter, and capable defender. I'm hoping that KA will be able to play full-time backup SF, but I'm still not sure if he'll be ready for that. Don't see Wright taking the minimum, though, unfortunately...

Wright, Ellington, Withey, Aldrich, Seraphin, Jameer - would be pretty happy if we got any of these guys.

Need another expert 3pt shooter..Remember how many regular games Belinelli won us in 13/14..We are going to have ridiculous spacing that need those kind of distance gunners.

Spurs get whom they wanted; Dallas and Los Angeles (Lakers)) lose out. Feels odd.
