Thank you Minny! As for Friday night Spurs fans.....GO DO SOMETHING FUN AND DONT WATCH THE GAME! Fridays are made to be fun and not in a pissed off and angry mood. You guys will seriously thank me for this advice.
Spoken like a true Dallas fan. The rallying cry for the upcoming Cowboys playoff game is "Go Mavericks". The fair-weather Dallas fans don't deserve winning teams, as displayed by the continuing class they show on this board.

dude, be nice... post smack where it belongs, in the mavs/spurs gametime thread!

i mean, i talk smack in the mavs related threads but it would piss me off if some third party fan were constantly taking over and dissing the mavs in a thread totally unrelated to them

What does it matter if the spurs lose? As long as they make the playoffs and start kicking ass when it counts all this BAMA talk is only going to help you lose focus on Friday.

Spurs always suck right before they play the Mavs. You rather win tonight and lose Friday?

I'd rather the SPURS go on a winning streak of their own!

    Mavs - 11
    Suns - 14? (previously)

If the Spurs can't beat Dallas on Friday, it means they just can't beat Dallas.

Caught the game on the radio tonight.

I'm a bit confused about the final play. They get the stop, fail to get the board, and then ... forget to foul? Did none of the 5 Spurs on the floor know how much time was remaining? Were they confused?

could we trade for corey? well i've came up with a plan of how to play him. We could play him on the offensive end, after we get the hoop we knock the ball out of bounds so that we could sub bruce back in just in time for the defensive end. that solves the 4 on 5 prob

I'd be happy with a one game winning streak at this point.

They will they are too good to keep playing this inconsistant. As long as they are healthy it may take until the 2nd half but they will hit their stride.

Sadly -- they had this against the HAWKS!

I will be happy to see them beat some of the West/East 'contenders' instead of only the lowly teams of each conference!

Look, they're not playing very well right now. But there is no reason for the Spurs, or Pop, or certainly the fans, to get mad or throw some sort of feminine hissy fit. If anyone remembers the 3 championship teams (you know, the 3 championships the Mavericks didn’t win), we would remember that those teams, too, went through some issues, at times, defending, scoring, rebounding, and what not. In the end, they won it all.

And even the seasons when they didn't, they were more than compe ive, always a threat to win it. Shoot, the Spurs were .04 away from winning it in '04, and some bad luck and a very good Mavs team away from getting it last year.

We have a darn good team and should be proud to root for them. How many other teams’ fans can say that their team is in the running year after year? Maybe 5 or 6.

And I really don't buy any of this nonsense about the Spurs not playing hard. They are consummate pros who always play hard, and they win or lose as pros. Tonight, they lost like pros, albeit with a brain fart at the end.

Manu and Tim almost always play their heart out every night. They may not always play well, but they always play hard. Same goes for Tony, Bruce, pretty much everyone on the team. The ones who don't play hard end up playing for Miami and getting suspended or something.

uhhh well considering Miami won the last championship I don't think that was a good analogy

What I liked the most out of tonight.

The only thing that beat the Spurs was the T Wolves having to make some damn unreal shots.

Blount shooting out of his mind, Foye making some damn tough shots.

Quite a few shooters made shots with guys in their faces.

You tip your cap and move on.

    Good loss IMO.

It was a bad loss POP lost the game they could have scored at the end of Reg. Pop is thinking Gee Bonner can't hit a 3 when nobody is on him midway through the 3rd but he is going to make a 3 to win the game, what an idiotic call that was.

I just got back from the game up here in Minneapolis. It turned into a fun game but I hate to see the Spurs lose. There was absolutely NOBODY at that game as nearly the entire upper bowl was empty. But the crowd finally got into it at the end. Anyways...

Bonner for the win? Thats a new one by me.
