100% agree.
And that GP may be pretty thin. These guys are banged up. They have fought more than anyone.
I don't like the format that they use. They need the live format. Their Grand Prix format is better.
100% agree.

Exactly, just because the format they use is utilizing them too much. If they didn't have as many fights, it would be fine for them. Look at Chris Horodecki -- 6 fights in one year's time. Ben Rothwell has 7 fights in less than a years time. Compare that Huerta -- who everyone considers fighting too much in the UFC has 5 fights in the same time frame as Rothwell.
There is a thread SD saying that some part of the GP will be live, or delayed a couple hrs...no source though...
You know who told me tape delay is probable. They have done that before by like 3 hours I believe. On a Friday I think?
Yeah they need to change it bad. 90% of the people that watch that are die hards and die hards know what happens so why watch? What the incentive? I always catch it on DVR and just watch a few fights.
90% is a guess on my part......
And by the way, he does not know for sure about the delay. Just rumors...
Fedor update from one of the admin's on his official site (the guy seems legit)...

The truth is: during Vadim Finkelstein's trip to USA some preliminary agreements were reached. But when Vadim left for Europe the UFC (apparently Dana) decided to disaffirm those agreements and laid down his previous hard terms.

My only thing about that is it is so one sided.
What did they do or not do to make him change his mind ?
Its an unfair statement.
I believe he is legit, just biased. Just like the UFC's side.![]()

Too be honest.......... I try to follow K-1 as much as I can but I have problems with the names so its hard for me to remember who is who sometimes. There is so many names that cycle in and out of K-1 cards. Sometimes a fighter will go by a "Westernized" version of his first name and then sometimes they will go by their normal family name. I guess it depends on the site. Also it doesn't help that some sites list results...

Most likely setting up a rematch for Silva, just like they did for Liddell by having him fight Horn. It's amazing that they bring Chonan in, but NOT Denis Kang...complete BS...

I can't see DM at work but did he start it on the ground and then they stood up?
I can't figure out how he got that standing.
Yep...
Damn...everytime I watch it it creeps me out. I had to back it up 3 or 4 times while watching the other night. Couldn't believe what I was seeing. Looks almost like an illusion...![]()

Rampage and a huge group of far distant contenders at number 2.
Houston F-ING Alexander is a top contender.
ahh man......what in the world......
But you know what...this is one thing thats so great about the UFC being so stacked and having everyone. We will always know who the best is and without question...its Rampage. No guessing....no "wish he would fight X" We will always know at nearly every weight class.
Granted...there will always be a few Fedor and Gomi's here and there leaving a small question in one or two weight class, thats impossible to avoid but we will always have a very god idea.
Boxing has rarely ever answered this question and if they did chances are it was too late.
And dallaskd
I know your a huge fan of Rameau Sokoudjou and so am I but I think the best thing in the world for his career would be getting another 5 or 6 more fights under his belt before his heads into that UFC Buzzsaw that is the LHW division.
I want to see him succeed so for now I pray he stays away and gets some more seasoning. I want to see him fight for free on showtime with Elitexc for a bit, maybe a IFL superfight. Lets see him in the UFC in late 09 with a W/L around 9-1. Thats averaging 3 fights every 4 months. Perfect for him.
What do you think?
