He wouldn't have needed to up if Pop didn't throw Game 6. Duncan played his ass off and was the best Spur on the floor for the series, had Manu played at least average your ass wouldn't even be here, got.
Media didn't lay a hand on him because they don't want to give Pop credit, it's all about Bron being clutch, it has nothing to do with Pop subbing out the best player on his team for a crucial stretch to seal the championship or going to Manu to win it all in OT instead of calling a TO and having Duncan post up Bosh/Birdman, instead we got another classic Manu turnover going 1 vs 3...
But, he did up. Let him face it. He's taken the accolades when they were up and deserved. Let him suffer this. He's a big boy. He can do it.
Timmy did up, but at his age, how he played otherwise was impressive.... it's a lot like Favre in the 2010 playoffs, tbh....
The only thing that matters is he ed up and missed those layups. Everything else is rendered inconsequential.

though been an alright season for the Spurs, strange but interesting. it seems a lot of the Laker fans on here are either rooting for the Heat now or relegated to living off of Spurs' pain.
