With so many young guys in the roster at least a couple will bust eventually, by that I mean Ayers and Daye bust. It's,just the odds. I hope it's not Dejonte but we won't know for a couple of seasons bc he's too young. The possible Daye/Ayers are the older guys. We don't have many on this roster, but those older guys are really unable to improve. Just arbitrarily, about 26-27 yrs old those two were pretty much what they were as players, and that was practice room end of the bench guys.
I gotta feeling it's gonna be LJC if he does come over. Would love to be proven wrong.

So, the spurs have gotten players like Ayers who are near their peak athletic years, hoping that they'd make a break through. Him. , Ray, that daye, bsynes, mills, some good players in that group.

Most of these guys stayed out of the d league. Most got minutes.

I don't have a point here, except that for the most part these Guys come cheap and leave easy.

The euro players are similar, but getting them isn't as easy. Let's I guess revisit whether this pipeline is better than the old American player style.

Also, imagine getting any big for $2m a year in this market.

only a rookie. And the rumor is the Spurs are considering bringing Milutinov in bc if he has a great season next year he will be unwilling to sign the rookie scale contract and just might as well stay his 3rd year and come over for much more. Bogdan Bogdanovich just pulled this move on the Suns on thus he got traded. I think if the Spurs see anything in Milutinov this summer they will sign him. That rookie scale contract is just too beneficial. Right now they might having issues just pricing Bertans right.
