The fact that he de-committed from Ole Miss before he comes to Austin with his family makes me wonder if he's received good news.
FYI, Boise offered him recently.... someone asked on Twitter why they would offer when "he has no chance of leaving Ole Miss" and he replied with something like "you never know what the future holds," now he's uncommitted....

FYI the crystal balls are starting to trend towards Texas for CB Roney Elam of Newton.
Word is he could pull the trigger if his parents are on board.
Chris Warren will be visiting as well.
Believe Sheffield can't make it due to TSU relays.
Brain fart. Added him.
Go ahead and add '16 DT Darius Anderson. I posted earlier that he said he would visit next weekend, but according to 24/7 he will be there this weekend. There has been some talk about him bringing a fellow top '16 recruit. I don't know if it's true or who that recruit would be.
24/7 saying WR Kemah Siverand will be at A&M's practice tomorrow.
The guy he would supposedly bring is 2016 LB Dontavious Jackson of Alief Elsik.
I get the feeling Coach Rumph will offer Anderson this weekend and he could be your first '16 commitment.
24/7 now has DE Keisean Lucier-South of Orange, CA listed as a five-star.
He mentioned recently he will visit Austin this summer.

More great news...
-OrangeBloods saying OL Toby Weathersby will be in town this weekend.
-24/7 saying CB Holton Hill will be at practice on the 29th.
Per his Twitter, 2016 QB Tristen Wallace of DeSoto will be in town too.
Quotes from the father of CB Kendall Sheffield on his recent conversation with Coach Strong (OrangeBloods):
"It went fine. It was more of a trying to get us on campus, he wants us to come up there and see how he runs his practice, see how he runs things," Mr. Sheffield said. "He basically just wants to get us up there for a visit."
"It was more getting to know him. He was giving us some background about himself, his plans for UT, getting to know us and getting us up there," Mr. Sheffield said.
"It was a good conversation, mostly because he's defensive minded. I think at Louisville, they were second in nation in defense. That's Kendall's side of the ball, so that's intriguing," Mr. Sheffield said.
Update on 2016 QB Brennen Wooten of Marble Falls after attending practice yesterday (OrangeBloods):
"They (Texas) contacted my coach, wanted me to come up and see practice, watch them go through practice, see how it went," Wooten said. "I decided to go up there and it went well."
"I talked to coach (Shawn) Watson a little bit before practice started. I got to talk to coach Strong a little bit. it was a good deal. It's a cool experience for sure. They're great guys."
"They're right in my backyard here at Marble Falls. I can go check them out any time I want to" Wooten said. "They're a big-time school, someone I'll look at hard."
"I was very impressed. The team was working hard out there. I think he's going to get that things turned around," Wooten said. "I watched some of everything, but I mainly focused on the QBs, how they're getting coached. I was impressed with those guys. They looked really good today."
CB PJ Mbanasor of Pflugerville Hendrickson talks about his upcoming visit to UT (OrangeBloods):
"I know they have a whole new coaching staff. I know three corners they've offered. I feel like I exceed their skill sets and I'm only 25 minutes away," Mbanasor said. "It's their judgment ... I'm just going to go there Saturday with an open mind, just see what they're about."
"I've never visited before. I live by them, I have seen facilities from the outside, but I've never been inside the stadium, never been to a UT game. I've been on the track for track events, but I would like to see things closer."
"I want to do a lot of research, in-depth analysis of schools, compare rosters, depth charts, find the best opportunity for me," Mbanasor said.
Update on TE Will Gragg of Pine Bluff, AR who says he's been receiving 30 letters per day from UT (OrangeBloods):
"They're all hand-written in burnt orange little note cards," Gragg said. "And I talk to coach Strong about once a week."
"We talk about how they're going to utilize the tight ends in their offense, that after this year, they'll be losing a few tight ends and they need a guy to come in play early. Plus he's from Batesille, Arkansas. My mom grew up in Newport, Arkansas. They knew some of the same people so that's cool. He and my principal went to college together and were in the same fraternity."
"Big time (fan of Texas). It goes as far back when I was a big Vince Young fan. I still have his jersey in my room," Gragg said. "Ricky Williams, Jamaal Charles, just like Texas' swagger. They have discipline and have their own style to it. And it's the biggest fan base in the country too."
Per 24/7, both DT Bryce English and CB Jalen Campbell will be at Baylor this weekend.
24/7 also moved QB Travis Waller, who said Texas and Stanford was his dream offers, to 36th overall in the country.
Lucier-South and Waller are two prospects I really hope that Texas gets on campus.
24/7 confirmed this morning that TE Jordan Davis of Houston Clear Lake will be in Austin this weekend.
Updated list for Saturday visitors:
2015

LB, Cameron Townsend, Fort Bend Ridge Point
CB, Roney Elam, Newton
CB, Jaylon Lane, Nacogdoches (transferred from San Angelo Central)
CB, PJ Mbanasor, Pflugerville Hendrickson
S, DeShon Elliott, Rockwall-Heath
ATH, Chris Warren III, Rockwall
2016
QB, Tristen Wallace, DeSoto
QB, Brennen Wooten, Marble Falls (watched practice on Thursday)
**There are conflicting reports on when 2016 DT Darius Anderson will be in town, so we'll have to wait and see on that one.
Quotes from 2016 DT Darius Anderson of Fort Bend Hightower (Inside Texas):
"I will be in (Austin) next weekend," said Anderson. "They are giving me tickets to the Spring game as well. I can't wait to see DKR."
""Fozzy is by big brother," said Anderson, who is not related to Whitaker. "He's my mentor and my idol. He's helped me and my family since I was little. Ever since I saw him at Texas, I knew that's where I want to be. He is the main reason I love Texas so much."
"Texas A&M is probably my No.2 school right now, right behind Texas. They (UT) are starting to do big things there."
"Don't be surprised if me and him (2016 LB Dontavious Jackson) commit to the same school," said Darius.
@corbymeekins
