The East went 47-113 (.293) vs. the Southwest division last season, the equivalent of a 24-win team.
If so, I missed that too.

Add OKC to the bizzarro Southwest (20-10 against the East) and East is 57-133 or exactly 30%.
The East was 3-0 in games I went to last year. SA @ BKL, SA @ NYK, OKC @ NYK. 2.7% chance of that happening assuming all East teams were created equally. And we know the Knicks aren't quite as good as average.
The SW division winner should get two banners and the Atlantic division winner none.
