with nobody out? yeah, sac fly all day. Even in a shootout, a run is a run. It seems like the bunts and sac flies only tend to happen in NL pitcher's duels these days.
Great. You show me the list of playoff pitchers who do that "par" on the regular. Against a good hitting team like the Yankees.
Hinch is a strategy moron who, along with the rest of modern day MLB never sacrifice to get a run in.
Bottom 2nd men on 2b and 3b you got to put the bat on the ball and attempt to get a run in. Nope, modern day MLB don't think like that.

Huh? He did what he was supposed to do. The Yankees have great arms. Judge alone can wreck a team by himself so the fact he kept it at 2 and got a no decision is a win.
The Astros offense is the one that needs to wake up. You're not going to beat the Yankees scoring 1 run a game.
Nats go up 3-0 today surely. Flaherty is a gun but he can't help a terrible hitting team. Fowler still in the lineup makes me![]()
Looks like the Cards blew their load on that 13 run game.
Ozuna singlehandedly killed the Cards this game
TRASH ASS TEAM!
I gave the Cards too much credit.
Hard to watch... putrid from Cards... just sweep us please
Surprised with the Cards
They are playing so unCards like
Are the Cardinals really going out like chumps? Pathetic waste of my time.
Lookin like a .500 team![]()
This does put smile on my face.
Cards pages I'm on complaining about the strike zone? me dead...
How does the dude strike out so many with the change up?
Been a pretty bad post-season thus far. October baseball is about improbable 2-out rallies, collapses, spotlight chokejobs, dumb errors that lead to big rallies. Started out great with the Brewers vs. Nats Wild Card game and a solid Braves/Cards series that ended with a ty blowout, but other than the Kershaw choke, no classic games. This post-season has been defined by one team racing out to a 2 or 3 run lead and then a Strasberg, Scherzer, Cole, on the leading team just mowing down batter after batter with strikeouts.
Manfred is too limp ed to do anything about it, though. This is the future of baseball if he doesn't rebalance the game to give hitters a buff. In any given season, there shouldn't be more strikeouts than hits. I still won'ttoday's MLB, because Manfred is "letting the game progress," while the NBA took a sport that didn't need any rebalancing (there was nothing wrong 2000s basketball) and forced rule changes to create the chuckball we see today. It's not like the MLB moved the mound up a foot to create more strikeouts.
Whose bright idea was it to have ALCS game 3 so early in the day?
This has been a thing for a while now. It ain't so bad if you're in the East but lol for those in the West coast.
This feels like a game Osuna is gonna choke away.
Maybe someday but not today my friend not today
2 more. Tomorrow is probably a rainout
Good by Osuna. Don't trust him at all though; only one in the bullpen I feel good about is Harris.
