How did the big 3 deal with this? Seems like it's just Wemby from last year and this year.
Of all things it's these ing juniper trees that I fear could be the thing to drive Wemby out of San Antonio.

It’s actually worse in Houston because I think the humidity compounds it. Weirdly, being in Austin helps a lot.
I don’t think it affects everyone.
Yeah I have heard a lot about this being a particularly ugly flu season. I went to a big family Christmas GTG where a bunch of family got pretty nasty cases of both COVID and flu. No life threatening cases thankfully but still very nasty. Got vaccinated against both back in the fall and caught neither though.
Been wondering what’s wrong with Sochan, this is a good point. Also on O when you’re battling 5’s all night, it’s hard to do what Sochan does best, which is cutting, taking advantage of opposing 4’s size (not 5’s), and swooping in for OREBs.
I think he was referring to himself, mentioned that he didn't get to do any conditioning the day of the trade, so he had to use the treadmill recently to keep up
Strange, I never noticed it when I lived in Houston. Humidity definitely does make it way worse though. Thank ing god this pollen doesn't come in June when we're pushing dew points in the 80s and heat indices around 120.
Trade for a backup big, christ…. Wemby and Sochan both need this move. There isn’t a lot of time left.
Hey, guys, remember when we were young and talked about pussy, not ing cedar-induced allergies? Age is a ing .
IDK, it only hits some people really hard.
Thats good for you. Caught the flu a few weeks back and still coughing up a lung everyday. Worst consistent cough I've had in awhile while living here my whole life. I think about it every time i see wembys nose blown up, the guy has been struggling with allergies and sickness while here.
This is what I've been saying. They are really doing Sochan a huge disservice by playing him as a back-up 5. He already has enough issues on his own (3pt shooting and being a dumbo at times). He's a solid young player who should be getting ALL the help he needs from his FO and they are doing the opposite with these experiments at PG and Center.
I’m up in Austin. Felt mild this year, was it bad in SA? I also think there’s shots and other science stuff the staff will put him on. There’s gotta be a way, starting next year.
Sochan is a good defender and a decent rebounder not much else. Much like Dev I don’t see what makes him so untouchable in a trade. Offense VS defense role player through and through just like Dev and KJ.
Am I the only one that saw a good game from Sochan tonight?
He's a role player and he plays like it. He hustles, he dives on the floor, he makes quick decisions with the ball and he gives his all on both ends. What more do yall want from him? Shooting? He can't do that.
Of ing course we get a generational player and he's allergic to San Antonio.![]()
I’ve had problems in the past, but 1) Claritin D or 2) Flonase seem to help quite a bit. Someone tell Wemby.
I want to belive the organization is leaving every rock unturned to find a solution for this.
It has been a very mild year by San Antonio standards, but it was still near 10,000 or so a few days ago. Usually the season peaks around 20,000 to 30,000 out here though, usually in mid January.
Box score looks good, but tonight and in general he’s been killing the flow on offense when he’s not doing his extracurricular thing.
And of course the practice facility is right in the middle of the worst part of town for that .![]()
How does he kill the flow of the offense when he very rarely has the ball in his hands for more than half a second?
I would seriously consider moving that if things don't get better. We can't handicap ourselves because of ing allergies to our franchise player, tbh.![]()
