ESPN.com reports investigators do not agree with Atlanta Falcons QB Michael Vick that he was rarely at the Virginia house he owned where officials have found evidence of dog fighting. Vick also said he never took part in the practice, but the animal control coordinator for the City of Chesapeake in Virginia told Yahoo.com she has spoken with individuals who can "put Vick on that property" during matches. Kathy Strouse, the animal control coordinator, says she is "very confident" that Vick will be tied directly to the dog fighting on the property, and has challenged Surry County Commonwealth attorner Gerald Poindexter to bring charges. "He [Poindexter] was at the home and saw the equipment that we seized. When we were there, he said he had enough right there to issue an indictment. He didn't say who he would indict, but he said he had enough," Strouse said. Strouse indicated that the individuals who can place Vick at the scene have been reluctant to testify. An investigator told WVEC-TV in Norfolk, Va., that a meeting has been requested with Poindexter to review evidence, but Poindexter said that they have not requested a meeting a with him.

It is expected the change would involve having 10 minutes for the first round, seven minutes for the second round and the remaining rounds would stay at five minutes.

The Associated Press reports Chicago Bears DE Alex Brown told Sirius NFL Radio that he asked the team for permission to work out a trade. Head coach Lovie Smith is still planning to have Brown at this weekend's minicamp. Brown admitted he is comfortable with the team, but he would like to explore other opportunities. "We're just trying to see what's out there. That's what we're trying to do. It's not the Bears. They don't want to get rid of me. It's just that I want to see what else is out there. If it was up to me I'd get a new contract here and play the rest of my career here. I totally understand some of the things the Bears are saying. We're handling this in a real low-key fashion and that's the way we want to keep it," Brown said.

Don Walker, of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel, reports the NFL has announced a new policy to govern the ability of media websites to offer audio and video content. Credentialed website can use up to 45 seconds per day of audio or video of interviews or press conferences involving NFL employees, including players and coaches, as well as practice footage. The new policy also states that audio or video cannot be used live and may be archived for 24 hours. Jim Jenks, executive sports editor of the Philadelphia Inquirer and president of the Associated Press Sports Editors organization, said that media representatives met last year with NFL officials about a policy governing online content. "We would like more. But in fairness, it is a first step," Jenks said. NFL spokesman Greg Aiello said the league was expanding access to media, "but we are also balancing news coverage vs. programming. We can't allow somebody to take our content and create a program around it unless we are licensing it."

John Clayton, of PhiladelphiaEagles.com, reports Philadelphia Eagles QB Donovan McNabb (knee) said he has recently started running and cutting on his injured left knee. He has also been throwing once a week. He said he has experienced no setbacks since his surgery. He has been rehabbing his knee four times a week, and still participates in general conditioning workouts five days a week. "It's really similar to my workouts in Arizona, just not as extensive," McNabb added. He could be cleared to resume working out with the team for their June minicamp, but he was noncommittal about when he would be ready to practice with the team.

Scheffler will undergo surgery Monday, May 21, and will be out of action for two months. He will likely be able to return in time for training camp.

The Associated Press reports Miami Dolphins head coach Cam Cameron said RB Ricky Williams will most likely not play for the Dolphins again. "I will not allow our fans to be let down by people that are not on our roster -- not again. It's my responsibility not to let that happen. We have the greatest fans in the game, and we've got men on our team that we're going to focus on,'' Cameron said.
