Nope. He had 30 points last march against the Bobcats. And if I remember correctly he had quite a few more than 3 rebounds that night too.
Parker getting sloppy and failing to close out on shooters in general let Portland back in the game.
I'm just hoping it was an opening night thing - supposedly his range has really been extended, guess we'll find out in a month or so.

Observations:
I was surprised Pop played Mahinmi, a raw rookie--and didn't play Udoka, a vet, when he took Bowen out.
Compared to the Rockets game where we mostly shot from outside, we were able to get into the paint as usual.
Bonner missed a couple of rebounds by a fraction of a second and an inch or two of position. I know, coulda woulda shoulda, but he was working hard and will contribute.
Wish we could get Webster. First I'd seen of him and he looks like a stud player. When ODen is able to play with him and LA, the Blazers front line will be hard to match up with, one of the best in the league.
One of Washington's mistakes that earned a foul was OK by me. He was a little too aggressive on defense and got right up belly to belly with his man and picked up the foul when the other guard moved into him.
Wish Elson had better hands. He flubbed some easy rebounds and passes. Maybe its because of the mask. Oh well, he's not in NAZR's "manos de piedra" class.
Manu is going to ruin the boring image of the Spurs with all that fancy passing if he doesn't watch out.
