Well, if Trump actually stood for any of that, he might have had a point.
As it is, his history shows an unwillingness to put anyone but Trump first, rampant deficit spending and massive debts, a billion dollar loss and multiple bankruptcies, and a trite slogan that is fundamentally unpatriotic. But the willingness of so many to believe that none of that is "really him" readily explains why so many who support him will also forgive his "locker room talk."
And that's without even addressing the absolute inclusiveness of the Spurs organization, which is wholly at odds with virtually everything that Trump has said during this campaign about anyone who isn't a white straight male.
