Lowe said he feels Ingram, Kuzma, and two 1sts for Kawhi is a fair deal. I strongly disagree, especially considering that trade also nets you Lebron, and I don’t think the Lakers have offered that anyways.

No he’s not. Convingtons deal is very fair in this new cap environment. It dips this year, and then is replacement value for a solid 3D player. He’s the Danny Green replacement.

More importantly the inclusion of convington suggests a bigger deal where Patty/pau get added. If the spurs send out Patty, Forbes, Paul, in exchange for Covington, Fultz, Bayless, Saric, and picks, that’s about 6M in cap savings for Philly which would help for Lebron.
    All that for a top 3 player...FOH

the problem is ingram just hasnt been good in his first 2 years. i know he's young, but he should have shown a lot more by now if he's supposed to be some star caliber player.

i like him, but not as a centerpiece for a kawhi deal. and kuzma is just filler. he's not starting material and is a 1 on 1 scorer off the bench. not a great deal of value there. and then those laker first round picks are going to suck considering a kawhi deal will probably net them lebron and they'll be pickin in the high 20's indefinitely

It just depends on the 1st's. If they are Lakers 1st's then it's mot but, if they were from Phoenix, Sacto, etc then it looks better.

No offense, bro, but you're the "idiot" if you believe comments from a washed up bench player is going to drive Kiwi out of town. The reason Parker made those comments because he already knew Kawhi was essentially gone (as did Pop and Manu). He's indeed an idiot for saying them just because it gives Kawhi's "camp" a deflection to use, but they weren't any kind of straw.

Spurs are gonna get shafted no matter what. It’s a question of whether they get .40 to the dollar or .75. Phillys is the least bad offer

If you can get Lebron and K-Y yeah ing yeah Simmons is expendable. To me the key would be the following:

    1. Miami draft pick
    2. Zhaire Smith
    3. Simmons but could live with Saric
    4. Jonah Bolden

Would probably have to take Covington to make salary work out.

Also so would be shopping Green and Gasol for players or draft picks.

The timeline proves that Kawhi wanted out long before Parker or Pop’s comments were made.

Besides, if something as simple as Parker’s (annoying but harmless) comment was really enough to make Kawhi demand a trade from an organization, then he’s softer than baby and makes a beta- like Durant look like Charles Oakley tbh.

You posted about lauvegne based on a guess after reading about him being available. If he weren't signed you'd have let the thread die and said it wasn't literal. You've been calling for kathi to leave for like seven years including the year he was restricted and not a UFA.
In the thread he started he said tge spurs should sign him. It wasnt an inside source. It was his preference and a suggestion. Not a prediction.

    False.

Everything I'm hear is that kawhi was already not happy with San Antonio.

Kawhi checked out in March. He was legit injured but he recovered before the playoffs.

The team didnt want him in the lockeroom.

He wanted out and today he is officially out.

    The parker comments was irrelevant.

If I’m the spurs, I put talks with lakers on ice now that Lebron opted out. Make the Lakers sweat out the Lebron drama for a while, and reengage closer to the start of the season. It sounds like Lebron decision on LAL is in either George or Spurs hands now.

Make Lebron pressure the Lakers to get a real deal going. Make the Lakers chase you.

Nope, he's my ing hero and a 4 time ringer that was all-Spurs, all the time.

I'm glad Kawhi was ultimately driven out because his feelers got hurt by a Spur with a banner hanging in the gym. Kawhi.

    Thing I don't like:
If they trade Kawhi to Lakers, Magic is called a genius for getting him out of SA.
If he isn't traded to Lakers and they get him next year, Magic will be called a genius for waiting.

Not disagreeing with your premise, but I'm saying TP is an idiot for even going there. He had no place talking about another man's injury like that. That's my point. Some things should be off limits. But that's just me.
